The projects found in this portfolio take architecture as a method to explore, rethink, and experiment with new ideas. Step away from conventional methods and formulate new questions that promote advancement and innovation. The opportunity as a designer is to take a critical look at what we call an “urban fabric” and examine for a hidden truth that is sometimes overseen. Hidden within this fabric can lie economical, environmental, and societal aspects that can sometimes be overlooked in the built environment. It is important that we cover as many aspects as possible.
It is dependent on us, as responsible architects and designers, to keep ourselves informed. We must push past the conventional limitations that we have defined and seek to engage in a discourse to continually question what architecture is, and what benefits it may bring. This allows us to design, understand, and improve the buildings that we set forth on to this earth.
